OUR CLINIC
Maroela Animal Hospital is a modern well equipped veterinary hospital.
​
Dr. Liesel Schreiber qualified from Onderstepoort in 2011. She worked in Pretoria in small animal clinics for 2 years after which she moved to Hoedspruit. She gained alot of experience working with all kinds of animals from hamsters to large wildlife, snakes, birds, pangolins and many more. She has a fondness for cats after adopting a little ginger stray kitten in Hoedspruit, named Nugget.

Dr. Uldri van Der Merwe qualified from Onderstepoort in 2018 and completed her community service year at Casteel Animal Clinic. She joined the practice in February 2020.
​
Christo Schreiber has the role of Practice Manager and Vet Assistent. Christo was Head Curator at Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre for 10 years, this is also where his and Liesel's paths crossed.
Our goal is to supply a friendly and professional service to the Hoedspruit community and to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our patients.
